Project Administration, Payroll, Annual Accounts, Tax Advice, and HR… We Handle It All for Milieu Centraal! 

IFS Finance has been working with great enthusiasm for Milieu Centraal since 2014. This organization brings important topics like the environment, climate, or energy conservation to the public eye. Often funded by government subsidies, which require a lot of administrative substantiation, Milieu Centraal initially needed a robust project administration system. This quickly expanded into a comprehensive financial service provided by IFS Finance.

Project Administration in Exact

The collaboration started when Milieu Centraal had about 10 employees; now it has nearly 50, managing dozens of projects annually across various domains. To manage the workflow, IFS Finance set up a project administration in Exact to monitor hours, budgets, and project statuses. Cynthia van Arkel, General Director at IFS Finance, notes the acknowledgment from clients and Exact Software representatives of our proficiency with the software.

Comprehensive Financial Services

What started with project administration now includes payroll, financial statements, tax advice, and HR services. Van Arkel has been involved since the beginning: “I take pride in our true collaborative effort towards Milieu Centraal’s success. I spend one day a week at their office, working closely with the Head of Financial Operations. Even though I’m not officially an employee, it feels like I’m truly part of their team, which speaks volumes about our close relationship.”

Setting the Stage for Future Growth

As Milieu Centraal rapidly expands, IFS Finance has assisted in scaling the internal organization through the development of an AOIC manual (Administrative Organization and Internal Control), ensuring the internal structure evolves organically and processes remain under control. A key element is visualizing financial data on dashboards for the board to use as a basis for decision-making. Van Arkel elaborates: “This combines various data types into management information displayed in a visual dashboard. As Milieu Centraal continues to grow, IFS Finance is thinking ahead, administratively streamlining their expansion for now and the future.”
